based on a theme of control, boundaries. Environmental Control - the factors within our environments that can effect us.. such as colour, sound and pattern alongside rules and texts imposed upon us by society. Invisible control. Etiquette is another form of control. What you want to say, but 'shouldn't' because it's rude. Censorship. Institutional control. How institutions decide what we see and how we see it. Inspired by Lyrics (which speak out against this political corruption and question who really is in control.) Other text from Graham Hancock and a few of my own phrases. A sense of obliteration. Appropriating work of musicians, etc. Again reinforcing the idea of society's opinions.. ie.. rude/ immoral to appropriate another artists work, etc. Unoriginal.. etc etc.

I was looking a lot at Russian constructivist and propaganda posters and wanted to take some elements of them and simplify them into shapes and colours.

Anyway, think for yourself comments/ advice appreciated..
